Summer Daze & Swimming Pool

It's summer all right. HOT. I have been doing my best the past few days to open our pool but it's a real big job. I am about to have to go shopping instead. Ha Ha.  We went right from spring on into hot summer time and even though I like that I am not into the sweating. Pool chemicals cost a small fortune too. I just can't bear to give the pool up. We have had it since my kids were small and now all but the smallest grandbaby has learned to swim in it. Plus I still really enjoy it too. OK...I will quit complaining about it to everybody and just be thankful we have it.

But it's a JOB. A BIG job.

New Handmade Garden Solar Lights

I have been working on a few new additions for my etsy shop, and here are a few preview pics. I make these from recycled glassware and solar lights like everybody has in their yards. I like the look of the unusual glass sculpture in my yard. Sometimes I make them 2 feet tall or more. Plus when they glow at night the glass reflects the light. Pretty.

Never Enough Time in a Day.

I am a bit overwhelmed lately. Seems as if I don't have enough hours in a day to get all I want done finished. Today was a beautiful day and I wanted to spend time outside working on my yard and gardens. My poor flower beds needed some serious weeding. But I still had work I needed to be doing inside too. So I did some of both and not all of either. Now I am worn out and have found a few muscles I had forgotten about. I think my brain is getting mushy I am so tired. So hello for now, tell somebody you love them and I will try to post some new pics quickly in the next few days.
